17 Sustainable Development Goals. What does an AI say about this?
Text-to-image generation means that software receives a text command and an algorithm converts it into an image. To be able to do this, the software has been fed vast amounts of images and image descriptions. Text commands can be single disconnected words, whole sentences or even descriptions for something.
Daniela and Stefan Röcker have experimented with such a text-to-image generator (NightCafe, AI Art Generator). They converted the demands of the 17 SDGs into positive statements and had them „answer“.
The resulting digital images were not altered, but only transparently underlaid with the respective SDG and printed on canvases (30×30 cm). The fabric of the canvases is a recycled mix: Seaqual®Yarn contains 10% ocean plastic waste and 90% postconsumer PET.
The exhibition was on display for the first time at the „Lange Nacht der Nachhaltigkeit“ (lndn-stuttgart.de) on 24.09.2022 in Stuttgart.

Release: Comicbook „Der Stern des Neccarum“
Yeah, in August 2022 the time had come – my first comic book „Der Stern des Neccarum“ was published for a client. The comic was conceived as a superhero story with a regional reference to Stuttgart, individually tailored to real people – a wedding couple. I had complete freedom in terms of the development and conception of the story itself: plot, layout, character design and text composition. A real wow-experience.
Edition: 100 pcs; Scope: 48 inner pages, 2 title pages; Format: DIN A4, climate-neutral printing on 100% recycling paper by a local partner.
